Flower cress – beautiful, edible and easy to grow
Flower cress and plate cress are the same plant, known by the botanical name Tropæolum. It thrives both in the garden and in pots, and its lush growth and strong colors make it a favorite in summer beds and as a border plant. Flower cress is not only decorative, both flowers, leaves and seeds are edible and add a slightly spicy flavor to salads and dishes.
How to grow plate-smackerel

Grows best in full sun and requires regular watering. Some varieties require staking, others can stand on their own.
