The hybrids are all large and vigorous. Most prefer alternating sun, partial shade or near shade. Others thrive in full sun.
If you want a strong evergreen, flowering hedge, this is the group you should look for.
Most tolerate pruning, but if it is a heavy pruning it is best done in early spring.
Summer pruning - right after flowering is also an option, but not too late, otherwise there will be no flowers the following year.
All are planted in sphagnum and fertilized with Rhododendron fertilizer.
The colors are white, pink, red, pink, purple and some with orange tones.
