What is a large climbing rose or climbing rose?

We use the word climbing rose for a lot of things, it can be a bit problematic, as there are roses suitable for a wall and others that can cover an entire gable. Here you see the strong ones that can be used on a rose arch, trellis or up a tree.

Over time, we have gained a lot of experience with which large climbing roses can handle a large arch or wall. In Laubjergs Rosenhave, we have many roses in the garden in columns, others in arches, etc. All the roses in the garden can be found in the nursery, for example the rose Arvensis Splendens which can fill an entire gable.

When do the large climbing roses bloom?

Many of these large climbing roses bloom earlier than the usual ones, that is, in June and into July. Some of the newer varieties bloom from July and continue to bloom for the rest of the summer.
