Different kinds of citrus

There are many different types of citrus, which differ in both growth form, fruit size and taste. Among the most commonly used are lemon, orange, lime, mandarin and kumquat.
Some citrus trees develop large fruits with a strong aroma, while others have smaller fruits and a more compact growth. What they have in common is their decorative appearance and the ability to form both flowers and fruit at the same time.

In our selection you will find varieties such as lemon, lime and kaffir lime and many more, all of which add an exotic atmosphere to your home, greenhouse or terrace. Whether you want freshly squeezed lemon juice, fragrant lime leaves for cooking or just a beautiful, evergreen plant, we have a citrus tree for you.

How to store citrus for the winter

Winter storage of citrus must be done correctly, as it is crucial for the plant's well-being. Citrus trees cannot tolerate frost and must therefore be placed frost-free during the winter months. The ideal winter storage is at cool temperatures and with access to light.
Watering is significantly reduced during the winter period, but the root ball must not dry out completely. Proper winter storage ensures that the citrus tree retains its leaves and is ready for new growth in the spring.
