Strawberry plants are sold in 6-pack trays. We have many different varieties, so you can stretch the season and get your favorite berries. Strawberries are planted in spring or early autumn. Remember that the plants must not be planted too deep, so that the growing point is covered by the soil. Strawberries are only fertilized a little in spring. Later in the summer, they are fertilized more so that the plants become strong for next year's harvest. Strawberries are best in the 1st and 2nd year, so it is a good idea to plant new plants every or every other year.
