Camellia and quality

All our Camellias are produced without growth retardation, which means that they will continue to grow when planted and set new buds, making them a real bush. There are not many things that bloom like a camellia. Both during the winter and early spring there are flowers and when they are not blooming they are still beautiful and have buds all autumn.
In this group you will also find the tea plant camellia sinensis, it is a nice little plant that wants the same good care as the other camellias.

Care and planting of camellia

For optimal growth, camellia should be planted in well-drained, medium-acidic soil with a PH value of approximately 5.5 and placed in partial shade, where it is protected from strong winds and direct afternoon sun.

To promote healthy growth and flowering, you can prune lightly after the flowering period. Camellias thrive best with fertilizer, they need to be fertilized well to keep the beautiful colors on the leaves and have good bud formation.
