- Compact plant that looks like a small rosette close to the ground. Each “stalk” ends in a trap, which consists of two halves that can fold together. The outside is green, the inside is often red or pink. Along the edge are fine, tooth-like hairs.
- Thrives best in lots of light, preferably direct sun.
- Use only rainwater or demineralized water, no tap water (lime and salts damage the roots)
- Plant in unfertilized sphagnum, possibly mixed with a little sand. Never ordinary potting soil and No fertilizer.
