- Large, round, firm onions with a strong flavor.
- Can be sown in March-April.
- If you sow in August-September, the bulbs should overwinter outside, possibly covered.
- Then you will have early onions the following year.
- If the onions are to be stored, it is important that they ripen completely in dry and sunny weather.
- Bundle and then hang to dry for a few weeks.
- Sunny location in deep, porous and humus-rich soil.
- Does not tolerate standing water.
