Shallot 'Yellow moon'

The difference between onions and shallots lies in their size and shape. Unlike onions, shallots grow in clusters, which later consist of several bulbs. Shallots are somewhat spicier and finer in flavor, sweeter in taste, milder and less pungent than the familiar kitchen onions.
