How to grow peppers and chilies from seeds
How to grow peppers and chilies from seeds: The seeds are sown in winter indoors, often from January to March, as the plants have a long development period and are slow starters. They germinate best at 22–28 °C in seedbed soil with light and even moisture. After germination, the plants are moved to brighter conditions and later to larger pots or greenhouses. Chili and peppers require warmth, plenty of light and regular nutrition to achieve optimal flowering and fruiting.
When spring has arrived and the night temperatures have risen, the plants are best outside. Here they thrive on a terrace or in a greenhouse.
